Portsmouth University, located in Portsmouth, UK, is a public comprehensive university. Developed by the goldport Institute of Arts and Sciences established in 1869, it began to issue a bachelor's degree in 1900. Since the University was changed into a comprehensive university in 1992, it has become one of the largest universities in the UK, with 23000 students, of which more than 4000 students from nearly 130 different countries are international and European Union. The business school officially became a member of AMBA (World MBA Association) in 2007. In the 2017th world university ranking, Portsmouth ranked 401-500. In the ranking of World University of 2016qs, it was first selected in the list, ranking 601-650. 2016u.s. news ranked 588 in the world university rankings. 2019u.s. news ranked 601 in the world university rankings. Portsmouth University is one of the mutual recognition institutions in Chinese and English.

The school has two main campuses, one in the centre of the city, next to the Portsmouth town hall, and the other in langstone, on the east coast.

Langston campus is located in Milton District, east of Portsmouth, bordering on longstone port. It is mainly a residential area and a playground for the school. Longstone campus has three main dormitories (qeqm), trust hall and langstone flats. From Monday to Friday, you can take free school bus between dormitory and teaching area. The school bus runs every 20 minutes.

The downtown campus contains the main buildings of the school, which are all over the center of the city. The teaching buildings and seven student dormitories are concentrated in the South Sea.
