Xi'an Medical College is a full-time general undergraduate college sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. It consists of Hanguang Campus, Weiyang Campus, and High-tech Campus. There are 13,558 ordinary undergraduates and 519 full-time master's students.

History

The predecessor of 　　 school was the Shaanxi Provincial Health School founded in 1951. In 1959, the provincial government established the Shaanxi Provincial Health Cadre College. In 1994, the State Education Commission approved the establishment of Shaanxi Medical College. In February 2006, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Xi'an Medical College.
